Greetings From the Other Side

heeeeeeeeeeello!
you might recognize me from other such works as Writer Buddies, Small Circle of Writers, This is Why We Can't Have Nice Things and Gamer's Anonymous from Facebook as Mx Carmen Veil.  You may be asking yourself, "why a blog instead of a Facebook Group?" Well, I'll give you the long and short of it.  Logging onto Facebook lately feels like ... well, like this:

And in truth, I am not alone in my reluctance to log into social media lately.  So to limit distractions, Sarah had this rockin idea about using a blog format instead of a feed.  We'll be inviting anyone who is interested as soon as you give us your email addresses, and then we can really buckle down and focus here.  Though my memes may be on point, that will be far less a thing without a significant chunk of text to follow (don't quote me on this, I am not very true to my words when I restrain the funnies). 

Feel free to post anything you would on the FB page, and please continue posting there for uploading files, images, thoughts and other creative interactions.  If your word count prompts a "See More" link however, it would probably be more appropriate here, where the feed will be far more prompt based than poke based.

I'm lovin this idea already, and I hope to read all sorts of cool things in the future!  Peace Out!

We are all writers here. 

That being said, there's really only a few rules to post here. 

1. Don't be a douche. That's right. Everyone has their own opinion, don't try and cram yours down anyone's throat.

2. No political posts. That's why this is on a blog and not facebook.

3. If you can't say anything nice, keep it to yourself. This is meant to encourage each other, bounce around ideas, and generally talk about the one thing that we all have in common. Writing.
